A finely balanced yet robust design from Matthew Hilton, this desk has an almost cantilevered silhouette with a curve-edged top and angular underside that rests on a solid cast-iron frame. Exquisitely handcrafted at De La Espada's workshops in Portugal, the sharp lines of either walnut or oak are gorgeously finished in Danish oil to provide a smooth feel that matches the seamless joinery while showing off the intricately patterned wood grain. Three angled drawers are concealed underneath the wide surface, with lifting compartments at the back featuring discreet cutaway handles and an efficient cable management system.
