Room air purifier MellonAir 200 UV-C with three-stage filtration The air purifier MellonAir 200 of the brand MELIUS, produced in Germany, is used for the removal of aerosols, micro particles and pathogens from the room air. The device has a technically neutral design in the form of a cuboid tower with a white housing made of aluminium sheet and is equipped with a plug cable for 230 V connection and castors for moving. The air drawn in by the integrated fan is cleaned in a three-stage multi-chamber system. This includes an activated carbon filter, a UVC lamp and an ionizer. This combination ensures the elimination of suspended particles (e.g. pollen) and fine dusts of various sizes, volatile organic compounds (VOC) as well as fungi, bacteria and viruses (e.g. cold and flu pathogens). Harmful substances and odours in the air released back into the room are significantly reduced, the UV-C light eliminates 99.99 % of viruses (scientifically confirmed). Depending on the size of the room and the load of the air, the performance of the MellonAir 200 can be regulated in four stages. When the housing is opened, it is immediately deactivated so that no harmful UVC radiation can enter the room.
