ZigBee-smart water detector with alarm siren This water detector is a practical accessory for all rooms where unwanted water leaks can occur. The sensor contact is placed on the floor and detects water leaking from the washing machine, boiler or dishwasher, for example. In this case, the alarm siren integrated in the transmitter generates a warning tone and a push message is sent to the smartphone/tablet. Possible water damage can thus be minimised or avoided - requires smart integration using a ZigBee hub, such as the Hama Smart Home Hub (available separately): This transfers the ZigBee signal to the WLAN so that integration into the Hama Smart Home app is possible - Enables early detection of water leaks and can be used for smart automation with other devices (e.g. alarm sirens, warning lights) - Voice control via Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri possible - Operation with two AAA batteries (included)
