Clean the wax - before each subsequent use, ensure there is no debris, matches, or wick trimmings in the wax pool. Remove any such materials before relighting the candle. Trim the wick - your wick should be about ¼ inch (0. 6 cm) in length each time you light. This helps prevent excessive flickering, mushrooming, and soot buildup and long wicks can also cause the candle to burn faster! Burn in intervals - after your first burn, we recommended to burn your candle in intervals of 2-3 hours at a time. This prevents your candle from getting too hot and extends burn life.
