Thanks to its Bluetooth capability, the bulb can be switched, dimmed or controlled according to predefined programmes via the Philips Hue Bluetooth app on the smartphone/tablet without the need for additional equipment. For voice control (Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit) or operation via smartphone app while on the move, the GU10 bulb can be integrated into Hue or any other smart home system operating on the ZigBee standard via a bridge and router.
