The metal shade in the form of a hemisphere of brass is complemented by a ball of hand-blown glass sitting inside, which protrudes from the bottom of the shade. This, in combination with the supplied bulb, provides the special lighting effect of the lamp. The included LED bulb with E27 base is also dimmable with a suitable dimmer.
