Original Product Description:

Round Hashira ceiling light with linen shade The Hashira ceiling light is the Nordic interpretation of the traditional Japanese paper lantern. Hashira means "pillar" in Japanese, which corresponds to the shape of the lampshade. The cylindrical lampshade is made of linen, a natural material that lives from the irregularities in the weave, which in turn creates the special effect of the ceiling light. The Hashira lamp series was created by the Norm Architects design team, which works in the fields of architecture, graphics, art direction and commercial interiors and was founded in Copenhagen in 2008. The designers attach great importance to timelessness and durability.
