Handwoven in a complex process by skilled artisans on a vertical loom, the Medanoso shares both its colour and pattern with sand ripples, which is why we named it after two dunes that are among the tallest in the world. The rug's construction is inspired by Scandinavian rag-rug weaving, and the pattern is created using a handwoven twill weave that creates a diagonal ribbed finish.
