The armchair offers superior comfort with its hand-tied steel biconical springs integrated into the seat, back and armrests. Its goose down seat cushion includes a polyurethane foam insert for shape retention, while the hand-shaped vegetable horsehair and rubberised horsehair padding provides excellent support. The leather upholstery adds durability and sophistication, and the traditional craftsmanship ensures long-lasting performance.
Officially named 'Model 904' but known as the 'Vanity Fair' since 1984, Poltrona Frau's classic armchair has come to symbolise the brand's values of timeless elegance, quality materials and craftsmanship. First produced in 1930 to designs left by Renzo Frau to his wife Savina, and subsequently tweaked by the Poltrona Frau Style & Design Centre, the armchair has undergone further positive adjustments in celebration of its 90th birthday. Designer Roberto Lazzeroni was entrusted with the task, which sees the proportions adapted to offer an even more comfortable armchair that now features a seat cushion made of goose down and a polyurethane foam insert to help it keep its shape over time. Padded with hand-shaped vegetable horsehair and rubberised horsehair and including hand-tied steel biconical springs on the seat, back and armrests, the armchair excels in comfort, further compounded by Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather upholstery in 'Ginger Bread'. A plaque with the Poltrona Frau logo on the back ensures there is no mistaking who is behind this anchor of relaxation.
