The 45 Chair features cashmere upholstery in cobalt blue, a soft-fibre textile that adds a fine, smooth hand-feel to the independently suspended seat and backrest. The walnut frame provides a dark, richly grained wood base that grounds the vivid blue upholstery with a warm contrast. Rooted in the 1945 Copenhagen Cabinetmaker's Guild Exhibition, the chair's construction separates the upholstered surfaces from the frame, giving the form its characteristic open, sculptural quality.
