The 45 Chair offers top grain leather upholstery in tan, a durable hide surface that retains natural markings while providing resistance to wear. Its walnut frame is constructed with the characteristic separated seat and backrest, each upholstered element appearing to hover independently from the wooden structure. The top grain leather's firm yet supple surface pairs with the walnut's rich, dark grain, while the tapered legs and curved armrests reflect the precision of the original 1945 design.
