The stemmed glass set features angular stems with branching designs that provide comfortable finger rests while holding. Each handmade borosilicate glass bowl sits atop the sculptural stem, with ridged linear surfaces that create unique light fragmentation. The flame-worked construction adds durability, and the clear glass design offers beautiful display whether filled or empty.
Designed by Mario Trimarchi for Ichendorf Milano, this set of six glasses is taken from a collection of glassware that incorporates an abstract interpretation of amaranth plants. These take shape as a series of clear angular stems, with branches that climb and diverge, and simultaneously offer fingers a number of comfortable nooks in which to rest. Atop each stem rests a low handmade and flame-worked cylindrical borosilicate glass bowl. Defined by a ridged linear surface, each clear glass offers a unique fragmentation of light for a beautiful display whether filled or left empty.
