The candleholder features smooth curvilinear lines that trace its exterior form, creating a distinctive wave-like silhouette. Its stainless steel tube construction follows a sine wave pattern, offering gentle continuity while maintaining structural integrity. The evenly spaced curves provide stability for the candelabra design, while the geometric base ensures secure placement.
Taking its name from a basic architectural element in ancient Greece — as well as the Greek work for 'wave' — Sambonet's 'Kyma' collection is marked by smooth, curvilinear lines that trace the exterior of the objects they surround. Designed by Serena Confalonieri, the collection is defined by the appearance of a sine wave – represented by a stainless steel tube – which runs along the outside of each object, offering a soft and gentle continuity to the collection of accessories, which are based on geometric shapes. Here, the curved form is shaped into a candelabra, its stability ensured by the evenly spaced curves of each tubular wave.
