The Grand Modele two-seat sofa features an exposed steel frame construction, a design concept originally described as a 'cushion basket' from the 1928 LC collection. Its aniline leather upholstery in black retains the hide's natural grain and texture, while the black powder-coated steel frame sits visibly on the exterior rather than being concealed beneath the cushions. The generously filled down cushions offer a deep, relaxed seat, with the frame's structural role reversed from conventional sofa construction.
