The DS 600 modular sofa combines sculptural form with functional flexibility through its narrow sectional elements, which can be arranged and expanded into a wide range of configurations. Designed by Ueli Berger in 1972 and nicknamed the Tatzelwurm after a mythical alpine creature, the construction is built around interlocking modules that allow the sofa to grow or reshape without fixed endpoints.
