The Grand Modele Armchair features an exposed steel frame construction with down-filled cushions, rooted in the 1928 'cushion basket' design that inverted the traditional relationship between frame and upholstery. The aniline leather in dark brown offers a richly toned, minimally processed finish that preserves the natural surface character of the hide. Chrome steel framing provides a polished, reflective contrast to the deep leather tones while contributing structural rigidity.
