The Grand Modele Armchair combines a distinctive modernist construction with down-filled cushions, drawing from the 1928 'cushion basket' design philosophy. Its frame-exposed structure reverses conventional upholstery conventions, with the steel frame sitting visibly outside rather than beneath the cushioned body. The aniline leather upholstery in cream provides a soft, natural finish that retains the hide's original texture and grain. Black powder-coated steel framing adds a contrasting structural element with a durable matte finish.
