The Nuvola Rossa Bookcase combines functionality with its solid American walnut wood construction and rich brown finish. Its diagonal bracing struts support the structure while incorporating six shelves, removing the need for traditional side supports. The versatile design enables the bookcase to fold away for storage, and its independent structure allows it to function as a room divider.
Cut from solid american walnut wood, Vico Magistretti's 'Nuvola Rossa' bookcase presents a simple aesthetic that almost defies the complexity of its construction. With diagonal bracing struts that both support the structure and house six shelves, and in turn eliminating the need for side supports, the bookcase becomes a multi-functioning piece in more ways than one — it can also be folded away or used as a room-divider.
