The Nuvola Rossa Bookcase offers sophisticated storage with its solid beech wood construction and black lacquer finish. Its diagonal bracing struts provide structural support while housing six shelves, eliminating the need for side supports. The innovative design allows the bookcase to fold away when not in use, while its freestanding structure makes it suitable as a room divider.
Cut from solid beech wood with a black lacquer, Vico Magistretti's 'Nuvola Rossa' bookcase presents a simple aesthetic that almost defies the complexity of its construction. With diagonal bracing struts that both support the structure and house six shelves, and in turn eliminating the need for side supports, the bookcase becomes a multi-functioning piece in more ways than one — it can also be folded away or used as a room-divider.
