The 12 inch empire shade features a hand painted card construction with a gold ripples finish, creating a textured visual detail across its exterior. Its larger diameter makes it suited to table lamps or floor lamps requiring a broader shade, while the card material diffuses light with a warm tone. The empire shape tapers from a wide lower edge to a narrower top, channelling light both downward and outward.
