The 10 inch empire shade combines a hand painted card construction with a gold ripples pattern across its surface. Its wider diameter provides broader light diffusion compared to smaller empire shades, while the painted card material softens the light output. The classic empire profile tapers from top to bottom, offering a balanced spread of illumination.
