The Meltdown coffee cup set offers a playful twist on traditional tea time with its beautifully misshapen design. Each white porcelain cup and saucer features traditional gold edging that adds an elegant accent to the unconventional form. The set includes two matching porcelain spoons, while the distinctive silhouette creates a conversation piece for any table setting. This darkly playful design reinvents the classic coffee experience with its unique aesthetic.
The 'Meltdown' series by Jordan Luca for Seletti celebrates two British institutions: raves and tea. The illegal parties that emerged from the UK in the early 1990s meet the traditional tea party in this joyful fusion. The collection is inspired by tea’s reputation in Britain as the cure-all for coping in times of crisis. From mourning the dead to finding a way through shock, neuroses and meltdowns, this darkly playful series reinvents tea time and promises to delight. This white porcelain coffee cup and saucer, which comes as a set of two, is accompanied by two porcelain spoons. Beautifully misshapen, the design is accented with traditional gold edging.
