The Film Posters of the Russian Avant-Garde features 250 Soviet film posters from the 1920s and early 1930s, documenting a period of experimental visual culture. With bold colors, dramatic angles, and eye-catching typography, the designs reflect the aesthetic innovations of the early USSR before Socialist Realism became the official art doctrine. Its curated collection provides a detailed record of avant-garde graphic design as both artistic and political expression.
