Tasked by Eugenio Perazza, founder and head of Magis, to draw a mule — the company's emblem — Konstantin Grcic created 'Ettore', a character that embodies the hard working and tireless spirit of the group it represents. Created specifically for Magis' 40th anniversary, the drawing was created as Grcic worked on the brand's 'Brut' cast iron furniture collection, and the sketch was subsequently brought to life as a cast iron figure. Strong and determined yet playful and lovable, 'Ettore' is Magis at its core.
