The Amazónia Vase offers distinctive earthenware craftsmanship with its Amazon rainforest-inspired design. Created through a collaboration between Portuguese ceramics and Brazilian artistry, it reflects the region's rich flora and natural beauty. The brown finish captures the earthy tones of the rainforest, while the ceramic construction ensures lasting durability. This piece combines cultural heritage with environmental consciousness, supporting reforestation efforts in Mato Grosso.
Historic Portuguese ceramic brand Bordallo Pinheiro has joined forces with Brazilian NGO Ecoarts Amazônia to create the 'Amazónia' collection — a series of earthenware pieces that honor the Amazon rainforest. Taking inspiration from the region's ecosystems, the award winning collection presents pieces like this vase, a reflection of the Amazon's rich local flora, traditions, colors, sounds and smells. A portion of the proceeds of the collection will be dedicated to the reforestation of the cities, rural areas and indigenous villages of Mato Grosso, where Ecoarts Amazônia is based.
