The Butterfly Stool combines Japanese design heritage with Western materials through its twin curved seat shells, which mirror the gentle arc of a butterfly's wings. Designed by Sori Yanagi, the gently curving silhouette is constructed from American walnut veneer, lending the piece a warm, natural grain finish. The twin shell form is joined at the base by a central brass rod, providing structural stability while maintaining the stool's lightweight, sculptural appearance.
