The Grand Modele three-seat sofa features top grain leather upholstery paired with a black powder-coated steel frame, reflecting the original 1928 'cushion basket' design philosophy. Its construction reverses conventional sofa structures, with the frame sitting visibly exterior to the cushions rather than concealed within. Generously filled down cushions provide a soft, yielding seat, while the exposed steel frame adds a precise, industrial contrast to the supple leather. The powder-coated finish on the steel offers a durable, matte surface resistant to everyday wear.
