The Grand Modele three-seat sofa features a 'cushion basket' construction, a concept developed by the Le Corbusier group in 1928 as a modernist reinterpretation of the traditional club chair. Its vintage leather cushions rest within an exposed black powder-coated steel frame, reversing conventional sofa structures by placing the frame on the exterior rather than concealing it within upholstery. The down-filled cushions provide a soft, yielding seat, while the aged character of the brown vintage leather adds depth and texture alongside the matte black steel frame.
