It was popularized in Japan where it was used to wrap the handles of samurai swords, and in the centuries since it has adorned only the most luxurious home accents. The cruelty free version of this material elevates the easy lines of the Maddoxside tables. We include three nesting tables in the set. The half-moon bases are in black metal and a choice of cream or black is offered for the tables tops.
