The Hortense armchair combines a polished chrome-plated steel frame with a grey wool upholstery, blending structural rigidity with textile warmth. Its seat and back are padded with fire-resistant polyurethane foam, using a denser 40kg foam in the seat and a 30kg foam in the back for graduated support. The chrome finish is applied in two nickel coats followed by one chrome coat, ensuring lasting brightness and corrosion resistance.
