The Saarinen Executive Side Chair, also known as the Time-Life Chair, features a generously sized upholstered seat in lustrous blossom velvet with a thick, plush cushion construction. Originally designed in 1960 for the executive floors of New York City's Time-Life Building, it incorporates a tilt, swivel, and height-adjustable seat mechanism for adaptable seating comfort. The natural ash wood legs provide a warm, organic base that complements the curved upholstered form. The combination of solid wood joinery and quality fabric upholstery reflects the chair's considered construction.
