The Saarinen Executive Side Chair, also known as the Time-Life Chair, combines sculptural form with functional comfort through its tilting, swivelling mechanism and height-adjustable seat. Originally designed in 1960 for the executive floors of New York City's Time-Life Building, it features a generously proportioned seat with thick, plush cushioning upholstered in a Chenille Helios-Feathered fabric. The walnut wood legs provide a warm, natural base that contrasts with the soft beige grey upholstery, while the organic silhouette reflects Saarinen's signature approach to chair construction.
