The Saarinen Executive Side Chair, also known as the Time-Life Chair, features a generously proportioned seat with thick, plush cushioning upholstered in a soft chenille fabric in a feathered beige grey tone. Originally designed in 1960 for the executive floors of New York City's Time-Life Building, the chair combines a tilting and swivelling mechanism with a height-adjustable seat for adaptable comfort. The black stained wood legs provide a grounded contrast to the upholstered shell, reinforcing the chair's sculptural silhouette.
