The Ball Chair features a distinctive spherical fiberglass shell that encloses the sitter in a self-contained, acoustically sheltered space. Originally designed by Eero Aarnio in 1963, the construction uses fiberglass to achieve its curved, seamless form while providing a supportive interior. The boucle wool upholstery in ruby adds a textured finish to the inner shell, contrasting with the glossy white exterior base.
