The Ball Chair features a distinctive spherical fiberglass shell that encloses the sitter in a self-contained, cocoon-like form. Originally designed by Eero Aarnio in 1963, the construction uses fiberglass to achieve its curved, free-form shape while providing a sturdy and lightweight structure. The interior is upholstered in boucle wool in charcoal grey, offering a textured surface with a soft feel. The glossy black base provides a contrasting finish that supports the shell with a compact, pedestal-style foot.
