The 12 inch empire shade combines a classic tapered silhouette with a hand painted ocean arrows pattern rendered on card. Its mid-range size suits a variety of standard lamp fittings, while the card material provides a warm, diffused glow when lit. The blue ocean arrows motif is applied by hand, giving the shade a painterly quality that distinguishes it from printed alternatives.
