When designing his 'LBM Table Lamp' for Danish brand Hay, Mexican designer Moisés Hernández looked to his compatriot Luis Barragán Morfín for inspiration. The influence is clear in the lamp's poetic interplay of light and color — a nod to Barragán Morfín's innovative application of the two — in which the use of folded vertical sheet steel culminates in an ambient downlight that has a subtle gradient effect.
