Sophia by Marie Michielssen Round Salad Bowl - Blue, Stoneware

The Sophia salad bowl features hand-painted blue ink drawings inspired by oriental calligraphy, applied directly by designer Marie Michielssen. Crafted from stoneware with irregular, intuitive shaping, each piece carries unique imperfections resulting from intensive handwork that distinguish it from mass-produced tableware. The spontaneous brushwork combines with a functional form suited to everyday use, and the stoneware construction supports dishwasher, microwave, and oven use up to 75°C. Measuring W23 x D23 x H5.5 cm.
