The Meltdown tray combines British rave culture with traditional tea party aesthetics in a joyful fusion. Its white porcelain construction features a beautifully misshapen form that creates visual interest, while traditional gold edging adds refined detailing. The darkly playful design reinvents tea time with its unique approach to serving.
The 'Meltdown' series by Jordan Luca for Seletti celebrates two British institutions: raves and tea. The illegal parties that emerged from the UK in the early 1990s meet the traditional tea party in this joyful fusion. The collection is inspired by tea’s reputation in Britain as the cure-all for coping in times of crisis. From mourning the dead to finding a way through shock, neuroses and meltdowns, this darkly playful series reinvents tea time and promises to delight. This white porcelain tray is beautifully misshapen and accented with traditional gold edging.
