The Joana Costa Nova placemat set features handwoven construction crafted on a traditional manual loom using circular mesh yarn sourced from textile industry offcuts. Each placemat is made from 100% recycled cotton, giving the woven surface a textured, artisanal character reminiscent of handmade carpet techniques. The set of four pieces is produced in Portugal by skilled artisan partners, with each placemat carrying the natural variation inherent to handloom weaving. Machine washable at 30°C with low tumble dry and iron at 150°C; measuring approximately W40 x D30 cm (15 3/4" x 11 3/4").
