Folk Teapot - Clear

The Folk teapot combines Japanese-inspired design with borosilicate glass construction. Its inverted conical body features a reinforced base and curved handle, while the delicate lid and leak-proof spout provide practical functionality. The transparent glass reveals the rich colors and movement of tea inside, creating an airy appearance when poured.

An homage to Japanese folk crafts, designer Denis Guidone recreates the aesthetics of an uwade cast iron teapot entirely in borosilicate glass. The design for Ichendorf Milano elevates the concept of the completely clear teapot. 'Folk''s silhouette, with its study, reinforced base, draws playfully on the weight and form of a stove-top tea kettle. This singular and shapely design is composed of an inverted conical body, curved handle, delicate lid and leak-proof spout. Revealing the rich colors of its contents, the movement of the tea inside, the teapot also seems to float as it's poured, airy and somehow momentarily invisible.
