The Sobremesa Cookie Jar offers vibrant charm with its blue, white and yellow striped design. Cut from durable porcelain, it provides reliable storage while adding visual interest to kitchen counters. The piece can be mixed and matched with other items in the collection, and its bold striping creates a memorable display for any kitchen setup.
Teaming up with Danish brand Hay, New York-based artist Laila Gohar has created 'Sobremesa' a collection of tableware and kitchen accessories that celebrate food as a means for telling stories. As such, all items in the series are made for enjoyment around a lively table with company — apt for a series whose name describes the Spanish tradition of relaxing and enjoying idle moments, and each other’s company at the end of the meal. This blue, white and yellow striped cookie jar is cut from porcelain and can be mixed and matched with other pieces in the family for a bold and memorable kitchen counter setup.
