The bowl features molten glass construction heated to 1,200 degrees and shaped in iron moulds, ensuring durability and distinctive character.
Grooved, chunky and bold, Tom Dixon's 'Press' series presents a collection of glass vessels notable for their heavyweight forms and simple functions. Crafted from the thickest industrially pressed glass, this bowl was created by dropping molten glass heated to 1,200 degrees centigrade into two or three part iron moulds to create a satisfyingly curved silhouette.
