The Nube placemat features hand-woven Iraca palm fiber crafted by artisans from Usiacurí on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. A wireframe base is shaped first, then intricately woven over using a generational technique, resulting in a structured yet lightweight mat with detailed surface patterning. The dried palm fiber construction provides natural texture and durability, while slight colour variations reflect the handmade nature of each piece.
