The Drops placemat combines artisan craftsmanship with natural materials, woven from dried Iraca palm fiber over a wireframe using a traditional technique originating from Usiacurí, Colombia. Each piece features intricate hand-woven patterns that result in a detailed, textured surface with subtle variations in colour inherent to the handmaking process. The natural palm fiber construction is lightweight at 0.15 kg, while the wireframe base provides structural stability.
