Following in the rich tradition of Romania’s Horezu pottery, each dish was lovingly handcrafted by skilled Romanian artisans using locally-sourced clay. While their bases have been left unglazed, the top half of each bowl is hand-painted with swirling streaks and marbleized designs in combinations of brown, orange, red, blue, green and ivory following ancestral techniques passed down through the generations.
