The EVO-C chair applies cantilever principles to plastic construction with robust injection moulding technology. Its 100% recyclable polypropylene material flows seamlessly from hollow tube-like components into planar seat and back surfaces that support heavy weights. The cantilevered tubular steel construction ensures strength, while the singular material creates a cohesive and clean silhouette.
Designed by Jasper Morrison and produced by Vitra, 'EVO-C' takes the classic cantilever chair and applies its principles and essence to plastic. Robust and strong, thanks to injection moulding technology and cantilevered tubular steel constructions, the 100% recyclable polypropylene chair has the capacity to take on heavy weights with hollow tube-like components that flow seamlessly into the planar surfaces of the seat and back supporting any applied weight. While the use of a singular material gives the chair a cohesive and seamless aesthetic, Morrison's mission to eliminate all superfluous details further enhances 'EVO-O' simplicity and clean silhouette.
