Created by dropping molten glass heated to 1,200 degrees into iron moulds, it features satisfyingly curvy contours. The thick glass construction provides durability and substantial presence, while the stem design adds visual interest to any display.
Grooved, chunky and bold, Tom Dixon's 'Press' series presents a collection of glass vessels notable for their heavyweight forms and simple functions. Crafted from the thickest industrially pressed glass, this stem vase was created by dropping molten glass heated to 1,200 degrees centigrade into two or three part iron moulds, to create a satisfyingly curvy shape.
