The Rouge Framed Intaglio features a cast plaster construction designed and produced in the USA, drawing on the Grand Tour tradition of intaglio mementos popular in 18th and 19th century Europe. Each piece is individually cast, giving it a one-of-a-kind character with fine relief detail typical of classical intaglio work. The frame comes ready to hang, allowing it to be displayed as a standalone piece or grouped as part of a larger wall collection.
These one-of-a-kind cast plaster intaglios are designed and produced in-house in the USA, framed and ready to be hung on their own or as a collection. Grand Tour Intaglios were originally popular mementos for the wealthy traveling Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries.
