The Gourmand Saffron & Cedar Candle combines cedar wood and saffron notes with coastal-inspired accents of salt water, surf wax, and rain. Its cotton wick is designed to be trimmed to 1/4–1/2 inch before each burn, promoting a clean, even flame. The wax formulation benefits from a full melt pool on the first burn, which helps maintain an even surface throughout the candle's life. Use should be discontinued when 1/2 inch of wax remains to protect underlying surfaces.
Elevate your space with this luxuriously scented candle. Saffron & Cedar (Gourmand): A surf trip up the pacific coast where ocean meets the mountains. A forest of cedar collides with the nostalgic aroma of surf wax, salt water and coastal rain… and the livin' is easy. For the best burn experience, keep the following in mind: The first time you light your candle, allow it to burn until the wax pool melts all the way to the edge; for a larger candle, this may take several hours. Wax has " memory," so if it is extinguished with a partial pool, that will prevent a full, even pool from forming in the future. Trim your wick each time you light the candle, removing any " bloom" from the previous burn. We recommend lighting a wick that is 1/4-1/2" in length. Do not allow wick trimmings, dust, or other materials to accumulate in the wax pool. Ensure that your candle is placed on a heat-safe surface. Discontinue use when 1/2" of wax remains to prevent damages to surfaces. To ensure safety and longevity, be sure to check the bottom of your candle for additional instructions, including details on when to discontinue use.
